Castelvecchio Museum, Carlo Scarpa

A few of my (ordinary) photos of the Castelvecchio Museum in Verona, and the renovation work by Carlo Scarpa. You'd  be better off doing a Google Image search of "Castelvecchio Scarpa". Look our especially for photos by Seier + Seier and Peter Guthrie.

There is an extraordinary digital archive of Scarpa's work at the Castelvecchio.

There are many very good books on Scarpa, but Richard Murphy's (tricky to find) book on the Castelvecchio is incredibly comprehensive and well illustrated. This edition in Italian only.
